Jason Mazur, a founder of All Points Digital, says the company prides itself on tying together all marketing strategies for a client, something it calls “spiral viral.”
“This means that no conventional marketing campaign should exist without an online strategy, or vice versa,” he says.
Mazur lives with his wife, Brittany, and twin boys, Cole and Parker, who are 2 1/2, on Whitehall Place.
All Points Digital is, indeed, all about digital. Where is it based? “We are cloud-based.” Employees? There are 30 of them, all over New England, home-based digital experts.
The company designs websites, of course, but services go far beyond that. Mazur describes it as a complete digital marketing agency, capable of search engine optimization (where you want your company to show up at or near the top when someone does a Google search for something), search-engine marketing, social media marketing, app development, content marketing, e-mail marketing and, as he says, “any other digital need.”
Only three years old, All Points Digital already has worked with the NBA, Riddell, SolvIt, North American Properties, the Western Connecticut Health Network and Cover FX cosmetics, among others.
Mazur once was director of marketing at a large company, but frequently saw what he believed were big mistakes by executives who made marketing decisions based upon their inclinations rather than measurable strategies.
He believes it is imperative for a company to employ marketing strategies that use data and analysis, allowing a company to actually measure business gained through digital marketing. For example, Mazur says there are strategies that will allow a company to identify exactly how many people responded to a digital ad, how many bought the product, and whether the digital strategy was cost-effective.
“When looking at your marketing budget it doesn’t make sense to waste precious dollars or go by gut instincts any more,” he says. “If your marketing is done correctly, everything can be measured down to the penny to get you the best return on investment.”
Mazur majored in computer information science at what is now Bentley University in Massachusetts. Many of the employees of All Points Digital are former classmates or fellow employees from previous jobs, people he describes as a close-knit group.
Skiing, golf and “football on a Sunday,” are interests outside of his career. As for those two little toddlers running around the house, as you might expect in this digital household, “They know how to work an iPad inside and out,” Mazur says.
